New Girls’ Network
Do you know a woman in her 20s or 30s looking to unleash her leadership potential, build her networks and explore social change? Maybe it is you? Maybe a friend or colleague?
We invite you and other bold women to learn more about the New Girls’ Network (NGN), a leadership community where women explore philanthropy, activism and feminism through stories, reflections and dialogue. A new spin on the ‘old boys’ club, the NGN acts as a catalyst, bringing women together with trained facilitators who create learning environments in which participants discuss and discover:
- what it means to be a woman and a leader
- how to tap into their passion and potential as activists
- how to define the future they want to create
Because each woman brings her own set of expectations and values to the community, each will walk away with unique outcomes. Some New Girls go on to advocate for a cause, some mentor women who are budding entrepreneurs and some work or volunteer on programs that create lasting change in their communities. Wherever their journey takes them, participants remain united through the strength of their collective experience. By completing the program, New Girls join a network of more than 250 women from all across Maine who are passionate about creating positive change.
We welcome your participation. Register for the 2010-11 New Girls’ Network Leadership Program is closed. For information about the program, please email Kristin Chase Duffy at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 207-774-5513.
