Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community: Starting Where Women Are

As a proud graduate of the New Ventures program (‘05), I will be forever grateful to Women Work & Community and especially, to Wendy Rose!

The New Ventures program held my feet to the fire at a time when I could have really run for the hills and hid in a heap of ignorance and procrastination tactics. I would have never made the time to crunch the numbers and find my words to craft a business plan without the rigor and comprehensive training in that program.

So thank you, Wendy. As I celebrate the fourth year of business I am filled with gratitute to you and your organization - and am also happy to report I have a thriving and profitable business!
