Brew Girls 2008

On Thursday, June 5, 2008, the New Girls Network is hosting the Brew Girls Live Benefit Concert at SPACE Gallery in Portland to bring together activists for an evening of great music, food and beer - all for a great cause!

For only $10, you'll hear music by local and national leading ladies,including Christine Baze, Sara Cox, Jenni Tobiasz, Vanessa Torres, Kate Schrock, and Katie Webber. For an additional $5, you can take home an official Brew Girls pint glass with the logo designed by Maine Cottage's textile designer, Anita Dore.

Besides performances by great artists, amazing beer from Allagash, and tasty food from Aurora Provisions, North Star Cafe, Ohno! Cafe, Pepperclub Restaurant, and Silly's, there is a raffle. You may be one of the lucky ones taking home an IPOD Touch, an Angela Adams purse, a $100 gift certificate from Maine Cottage, or another great raffle from participating businesses.

Bring your friends, colleagues, spouse, sweetheart or partner! Doors open at 6 pm, music begins at 6:30 pm. All proceeds from the night support the New Girls Fund for Social Change, a fund created in 2005 to support nonprofit organizations with emerging leaders who serve young women or girls.
